Itinerary

• Day 1 Arusha - Tarangire National Park

  After breakfast, starting a safari from Arusha to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire National Park is famous for its dense wildlife population, which is most spectacular between June and September, the dry period. During this time thousands of animals- wildebeest, buffalo, and Oryx migrate from the dry Maasai steeple to the Tarangire River looking for water. Lions, leopards and other predators follow the herds. Tarangire is home to over 500 varieties of birds. Have lunch and take a late afternoon game viewing and drive

  • Dinner and overnight at Karatu Lutheran Hostel.
• Day 2 Karatu - Serengeti

  You will have an early morning breakfast in the camp, then drive to the great Serengeti National Park with lunch and game drives en route. During your afternoon game drive in the park, you might see lion, leopard, elephant, cheetah, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, eland, wild dog, gazelles, crocodile, and more. Lots of birds include the migrants. Proceed with game viewing around Seronera or eastward.

  • Dinner and overnight will be at Seronera Campsite.
• Day 3 & 4 Full Game Drive at Serengeti

  Today you will leave after breakfast and with lunch packet you will drive as you follow the migrations paths depending on the location. We will spend the day following the great migration of about 1.5 millions Wildebeests and 500,000 Zebras migrating through the Serengeti Ecosystem. Dangers are everywhere and packs of lions, cheetahs and other carnivores are everywhere waiting for the right moment to strike. Crocodiles in the Serengeti river have no mercy as the herds cross the river. Thousands are swept by the arrogant waters and the scenes are amazing.

  • Later in the early evening you will drive for dinner and overnight at the Campsite.
• Day 5Serengeti - Ngorongoro

  After breakfast, depart from Serengeti Ngorongoro Crater Rim. Wake up for early morning game drives in Serengeti then head back to the campsite for breakfast. You will then check out and drive with lunch and game viewing en route to Ngorongoro Crater rim.

  • Dinner and Overnight in Ngorongoro Simba Campsite.
• Day 6Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha

  Wake up early in the morning for breakfast and then descend into the crater floor for game drives. All the big five (rhino, lion, buffalo, and elephant) live in this wonderful caldera. Others that live here are zebra, hippo, wildebeest, hyena, and more. Birds include flamingos on the Soda lake, geese, storks, vultures, and more. Your lunch will be served in the picnic site in the Crater at Ngoitoktok swamp, a Hippo pool. After lunch, drive back to Arusha.
